Mimco Loves

My regional manager gave me a mission which is to write a love letter to the entire Mimco store. Quite the challenge as it could be about anything. So I decided to write about how Mimco's latest collection suits the Sports Luxe trend. 

Here is a copy of my findings:

"Dearest Mimmettes and Mimdudes,

My name is Julia and I am a casual at Mimco Bondi Junction. I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to write this letter and have gone through a vast amount of research for this task which included window shopping, analyzing what women are wearing and magazines such as Russh, Elle, Vogue and shop til you drop.

Overall, there were many trends going through this winter such as 60s femininity, androgyny, thigh high boots, big coats and sweaters.  I would like to focus on what is really trending, Sport Luxe.

The sport luxe style can be worn from day to night because it is easy to glam up. The use of sport uniforms such as basketball jerseys, joggers, track suit lines, cricket sweaters, the monochrome textures and stripes create a luxurious minimal look. This look can be dressed up with some of mimco’s nebula or signet jewelry and of course the Sportivo watch. We can also accessorize the luxe outfit with a hint of Hitch Story jewels, Luxe Nomadica heels, a secret couch and top it off with a Novak cap to complete the Sporty Luxe outfit.

In conclusion, my experience at  Mimco has taught me that it would be beneficial to use everyday tools such as fashion mags, blogs, facebook and other sources of fashion media to accessorize our clients with the latest trends.
